Hey Babes! I'm Kalea, owner and founder of Salon Meraki. My journey in the hair industry began in 2006 after graduating from the Keene Beauty Academy, but my love for hair started long before that - when I was a little girl, captivated by the creativity and confidence that beauty could bring.

After working in two local salons, I knew it was time to bring my own vision to life. Salon Meraki was born from a dream of blending my passion for lived-in brunettes with my love for interior design and creating experiences that feel as beautiful as they look.

Outside of the salon, life is full and heart-centered. I am a proud mom to three incredible, handsome, and loving boys - Skyler Adyn, Mason Tyler, and Owyn Gene. These three inspire me daily to lead with strength and love. I share life's adventures with my partner and best friend, Noah, and our two dogs, Hazel Mae and Raider Gene - Raider being a cherished gift from my brother Kelby, who we lost in May 2024. His memory, along with the love of my family, my parents, my sister, and my niece and nephews, continues to fuel everything I do.

Every day behind the chair reminds me why I started this journey - to help people feel seen, valued and beautiful in their own skin. Salon Meraki is more than a salon; it's my heart in a space - a reflection of my passion, my family, and the belief that when you pour love into what you do, it shows in every detail. 

It's an honor to share my passion with all of my guests. I can't wait to meet you and bring your hair vision to life!
